Christmas Past Festival - December 14, 2024
Northshore’s best shopping from local merchants, attendees can enjoy food and drink from several local food vendors, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, arts & crafts and train rides in the Children’s Village! Live musical performances will take place throughout the day including a very special performance! Costumes and holiday attire are encouraged! You can even enter for a chance to win the festival’s Ugly Sweater Contest! So, join us for a day of activities that the whole family can enjoy!
Sips of the Season - December 6, 2024
When you attend a German Christmas Market you can purchase gluhwein (warm spice wine) in a coffee mug! Christkindmarkts are German street markets associated with the celebration of Christmas during the 4 weeks of Advent. As you travel from German city to German city you will find Christmas markets being held in town squares. Each town will have different themes and different colored mugs, which are a coveted treasure.
Girod Street Stroll - 2025 Date TBD
Stroll down Girod Street in Old Mandeville sampling classic BOURBON craft cocktails and light tasting plates created by top local chefs! These bites are included in the price of your ticket. The stroll takes place from 5pm to 9pm on Girod Street in Old Mandeville. Patrons will enjoy more than 30 stroll stops featuring light tasting plates by top local chefs, or classic Bourbon cocktails like Mint Juleps, and Old Fashions. Each cocktail stop will put their own creative spin on these New Orleans favorites. There will also be local artists on site selling their original work; a live event painting and live music at certain stops
